Customer Review: Kodak EasyShare Bundle.

We purchased this camera, because we were looking for more powerful zooming. This is it! We love it. It has been an asset to
the other Kodak EasyShare cameras we have. Since the November 10th, the day after it arrived, we have been using and using it.
Though we like the C182 and the Z915, this camera allows us to get close ups of the moon! We can zoom through the woods nearby
and take a nice picture of the our sister inside her vehicle! Amazing.
We still like and use the other cameras as well. We take this one along for the extra zoom. That was the true reason for this
camera. We like the pictures it takes. They are very clear. The camera is really not quite so complicated for us, because we
do not use all of the functions it has. We have not used all of the variety of functions on the other two cameras either. We
have found the method we like, and that is what we use. That goes for all of them.
What we like about the Kodak EasyShare cameras, is the familiarity we have with them. We got used to the C182, and when we got
the Z915, we were able to take pictures without reading up on it. Now with this Z981, we read up on it some. After a while, we
got the feel for it as the others. EasyShare cameras are not so difficult to handle. They take really nice pictures, we think.
They are handy and we tote them around with us.
The sunrises and sunsets, using the Z981, have turned out gorgeous. Now grant you, sometimes it will washout the strongest of
the colours, but that has not happened very frequently. The flashing of a red light from this camera without the flash turned
on, does not bother us one bit. Usually we notice that occurring in the dimmer shades of evening.
Others may have had problems with fingers accidently striking an ok or other command button. We have not found that to be a
problem. The location of the power switch is fine. One nice thing with this camera is the lens has a cover. We have not thought
about the weight of this camera, some may find it heavier than the other mentioned cameras. The other items included in the
bundle are great.
This camera does not replace any of the other ones. We like all of the Kodak EasyShare cameras. It would be hard to say which
one is our favourite. This, and the other ones, are affordable, take great pictures, and handle well once you get used to them.
If you need more zoom than a 3x, try a 10x. If you find you need more than a 10x, try this one--a 26x. If you need more yet, you
may consider a Digital SLR camera with 18-50mm lens, and a 75-300mm lens. We do not want to invest in an SLR. These are great
cameras. If you need more in way of zoom, and are not ready to make the step up to an SLR, then try this camera out. You may
like it, as we do. Great camera and bundle. Good pictures too. We recommend this, and the others too.

Kodak's EasyShare Max Z990 12MP Digital Camera (Black) is well-named: a 30x optical zoom is pretty much the "Max" for a compact consumer digital camera. But it's not only the lens that makes this camera a contender.
A 12MP CMOS sensor that has improved performance in low-light situations, a large, bright 3" LCD monitor, full 1080 HD video, and the option of shooting in the advanced RAW format are all reasons to take a closer look. And, the 30x zoom includes a 28mm wide-angle (the lens is a 28-840mm (equivalent) Schneider-Kreuznach Variogon with a fast maximum aperture of f/2.8-f/5.6).
