Ok, I am officially venting about my camera! I will never by another Kodak Product just because of their customr service department. I've never had any problems with the mechanics of the camera but a small rubber door broke off that covered the usb port, I know it's not a necessity but I like things like new. I thought OK I'll just call and get another. Oh No. Not that easy, they politely told me it was under warranty but they could not sell me that small door, it would have to be replaced by a trained service technician. Whatever, it's held on with a small rubber ball that you stick in a hole and probably doesn't cost 1.00. They also said when I send it back that if they decide they can replace my camera, which I have taken every effort to keep in emaculate shape, with a refurbished one. A REFURBISHED ONE! Over a small rubber cover...Come to find out after much research today, Kodak keeps a tight reign on parts etc. so you can't get them from repair places without going through Kodak. Oh, they did offer me a deal in the end they said I could send them my camera and they would let me upgrade with a 15% off coupon! What!!! I just told them to forget it.Customer Review: Kodak Z712 IS

Easy to use camera for indoor or outdoor photo shots. I don't require a $500+ camera or HD camera. Kodak has higher priced cameras with more options, that might be better for some else's personal requirements. I am not a great photographer, but with this camera, I take great pictures. Easy to operate (easier yet if you read the book). The zoom lens takes remarkable pictures of birds, deer, all kinds of nature.
I highly recommend this camera.

We bought this camera in May and are lovin the pictures it takes. We have used it to take pictures inside at our childrens 1st grade musical as well as outdoors at the beach and at Sea World. I am pretty impressed with all that is does and how easy it is to use. Even I, one who can not take a photo, can take photos that are centered and focused. woohoo!!! Excelent product. I used Kodak digital before, then I changed to another brand because price and convenience. Now, I'm enternally thankful in having a Kodak camera again. Great and easy to use.
